Foundation and Development
Conceived by Matt Halfhill from his spare bedroom in spring 2006, Nice Kicks grew from an idea to give consistent news, information, and retrospection on sneaker history from its founders. Unsatisfied with the less-than-reliable sources that existed in the day, Halfhill set out to create a daily destination where one could be guaranteed the best information.
In 2010, Nice Kicks opened its physical spaces to let fashion, music, and art find a meeting point. With such expansion, the cultural enrichment kept growing through curated partnerships and activities.

Nice Kicks uplifts the shared culture with places where fashion finds a meeting point with music and art. This is evidenced in the unique collaborations they have with iconic brands and the personal focus they give in storytelling about their brand’s moments.
Product Collection
At Nice Kicks, everything is good, starting from apparel to sneakers in collaboration with major companies such as Adidas, New Balance, and Nike. It is an in-house label that is always working on meaningful stories to add to the depth of the experiences done with the selected executed collaborations.

Nice Kicks does an amazing job of creating compelling, deeply cultural collaborations within sneaker culture. Perhaps one of the greatest applications of this was when they partnered up with adidas on the NMD_R1 “No Vacancy.” These shoes married vibrant storytelling with fresh design elements that might as well appeal to avid collectors and casual wearers alike. Distinctive colorways, premium materials, and thoughtful narratives respectfully nodding at the legacy of the participating brand mark such collaborations time and time again.
